As usual, I have a hard time when a year plan comes to a close, and it is no different this time around with Mr. Fox. His one year session is coming up and I’m looking back a few months (as I catch up on the blog) to his 9 month session. His soulful expressions make me laugh still when I look at these photos. Full of life and love – and maybe a little bit ornery. 
Back on a cold day in January, I met this family for our last session. We decided to change things up and go back to the UNiversity of Maryland, College Park, where this sweetheart’s parent’s first met as students. She hung in there as long as she could getting snuggles from Mamma. Although we cut the session a bit shorter than usual because of the temperature, she gave a few sweet smiles just in time. It was a great year with this family, documenting her life way back when she was still in her mommy’s belly. It’s always so joyful to celebrate a first birthday, and always amazing to realize how fast it really does go.
You know how you meet someone and hear their name and once you get to know them you think to yourself how perfect their name is for them? I think as this guy gets older, people are going to be saying “He is SOO a Bo.” I was only with him two hours when he was two weeks old and I left with that feeling that he was so Bo. Handsome. Inquisitive. Slightly cautious. Ever curious. All the wonderful things a little boy should be. I can’t wait to see him again later this week for his 3 month session!
